    DESCRIPTION:
Fabulous pair of pottery or soft ceramic vases from the Dutch manufacture of Delft, also called Blue or Blauw Delft, due to the fact that most of the production of these ceramics involved pottery decorated in blue on a white background. These two vases are quite large, signed below with a B and an earlier stylized letter, it could be an H, and below a number and an N and P joined. Note that the large central decorations are similar but not the same, because they are made entirely by hand, even all the decorations that frame the landscape are similar but not perfectly the same. Finally, note that the two dogs above the caps and the decoration of the caps themselves is one left and one right, that is, placing the decorated part of the cap in front of the two dogs are one left and one right, as it should always be for a real pair of
    ancient
    vases
, if you find dogs looking from the same side are two left or two right vessels, practically a copy of each other, and they are certainly not true ancient vessels. These are not like that, complete with caps, even if one has the dog broken and well glued, while if you do a quick search online you will find many pairs of vases but often they are two copies of each other (two right or two left) or even often both caps are missing or one has it and the other does not. You will find very few pairs of truly ancient vases, complete and one right and one left, like these. We all know the value and the prices required for two antique Blue Delft vases, consider that there are many at low prices but they are new, reproductions, the Delft manufactory is still active, so one thing is two vases from 1700 and one thing they are vases from 1900. Take a good look at the decorations, the brand under the base of the vases, the ceramic mixture, the fact that they are not duplicates of each other, etc.
Just below we have put the photo of two pages of brands found on the "Manuel de la céramique européenne", just as an example of the type of brands used by the numerous kilns that produced pottery in Delft in the 1600s and 1700s, these vases of ours I would date them towards the end of 1700, for the consistency and type of ceramics, but unfortunately I have not found the identical brand, also because I believe that no list of Blue Delft brands can be considered exhaustive, considering the huge number of them from 1600 (and even before) to today .

    O
ur shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all
shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used.
    .
For particularly delicate and/or expensive items, it is mandatory to participate in 50% of the insurance cost, therefore half of 3% of the amount spent, including the shipping cost.
THE INSURANCE WILL BE STIPULATED BETWEEN ME AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY, WITHOUT APPEARING IN THE SHIPMENT.
THIS TO AVOID FOR THE BUYER HEAVY TAXES ON OBJECT ARRIVAL.
    .
With our packaging it is practically impossible for the object to be damaged without the external box not being heavily damaged, therefore, in the rare case that the object arrives damaged, you must keep the box and send us photos of the damaged part to obtain the refund from insurance.
