    Description

    Early Dutch Delft polychrome plaque, circa 1740.
    The plaque is topped with a rosy cheeked mask face.  Chinoiserie decoration, featuring a man with a harp in a landscape with flowers.  Colors of yellow, cobalt, green and manganese.  Continuous flower and leaf border.
    The plaque has been broken and glued, which is more noticeable on the back.  Minor edge fritting.
    Measures about 9" high by 9 3/4" wide by 1" thick at the raised borders.
