    Description

    A superb Porceleyne Fles Delft wall plate, beautifully handpainted with a typical Dutch windmill landscape.
    This was made in 1949, as indicated by the year code BR on the reverse. The plate is well marked with the hallmarks of De Porceleyne Fles. It is entirely handpainted.
    The plate has a diameter of just under 9 inches (22,5cm).
    Condition is very good, there are some edge fritters on the spouts as can be seen in the photos but there are no large chips or cracks, the structure is perfectly sound.
    Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. It does have fine crazing which is expected of a plate of this age. A beauty for your Delft collection.
