The shirt is a true black like the closeups of the logo. Unfortunately, and as you will read below, sometimes the color will appear different depending on the lighting/proximity of the camera...since I am not a professional photographer, I just wanted to relay that...
There is no fading or pilling, nor are there any holes, rips, or cracking to the graphic, front or back as you can see.
This is a very cool Billy Joel shirt and would be an awesome gift for any fan!
